Lady May Is Ready For The Stage And TV Again, She's Fully Recovered From Accident

After her recovery from a scooter accident last year, Lady May is back and ready to take over Africa in 2016. 

The charismatic singer exclusively tells The Namibian that she is 100% recovered and ready for the stage and TV.

After her long stay in the Big Brother Africa house in 2012 where she reached the final of the hotly contested 'Stargame' edition, Lady May has amassed African fans from as far as Ghana. 

She has since taken numerous opportunities that came with her new found fame in the region and hopes to continue building this fanbase. 

“It's no secret that Africa is home and I want to tell my African story to Africa and the world.” She has shows planned for the year, one of which will be in South Africa where she'll be performing in Bloemfontein in March. 

“Africa is so beautiful and full of remarkable opportunities, I will go out there and grab them!”
Lady May's zest for life and passion for her work is admirable and despite the nasty accident which saw her spending time in ICU, she is back to work and ready to take on various projects for the year. She plans on working to continue building her brand and for her music, her aim is to delve into everything that's “creative and fearless”.


The Namibian can exclusively reveal that the 'Chokola' hit-maker and former Big Brother Africa contestant has entered her latest album 'African Bad Boy' for the Namibia Annual Music Awards (NAMAs) in the Best Single and Best House categories.


With her legions of fans and followers, Lady May is ready for what the year has in store. “I would love to thank you all for your love and support that you have given me during my difficult time. I am truly indebted to you all. Lady May is fine, and I am humbly grateful to be alive. Thank you, God bless you all.”

The colourful performer finally lets us in on what keeps her going. “The hunger to succeed in all I do keeps me awake every day ... it's the hunger to live my full potential that drives me.”
