We didn't drop Ghana candidates over Ebola, Big Brother Africaproducers claim

The producers of Big Brother Africa have denied reports that contestants from Ghana were dropped due to an Ebola outbreak in their country.

Updates coming in from Big Brother publicist for South Africa Michelle Esau, reveal that the contestants applied for visas to travel to South Africa for the final stage of auditions but their applications were not processed and issued in time.

"The contestants from Ghana could not make it because of delays in their visa applications. Therefore we had to get Ghanaians within South Africa to audition."

The visa rules only give persons coming into South Africa 30 days to stay.
