Well those of you who don’t know enough about Brett Melton, he’s a former professional basket player and Talia took to one of her social media platform to congratulate her husband on the achievement.

Brett Melton grew up in Champaign, Illinois. In 2000, he graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School as the schools all-time leading scorer, 2-time Central Illinois Player of the Year, All-State Team selection, noted as the #1 shooter in the nation, and finished with a ranking of 7th best player in the state of Illinois, and the 78th best player in the country. He received a full basketball scholarship to the University of Illinois “Fighting Illini” from 2000-2002 before getting injured and transferring to the University of San Diego to finish his basketball career and graduating in 2005.

Brett played professional basketball in California and Mexico before deciding to hang up his shoes and enter the corporate world. Brett went back to school to pursue his MBA in 2009. He has received several accomplishments such as Most Efficient Manager of the Year, Director of the Year, and Vanguard Leadership recipient of the Year.

Brett’s true passion lies in mentoring the younger generation and developing their athletic abilities as well as their life skills that will positively impact their future on, and off the court.”
